After arriving at Malé Velana International Airport, you will arrive at Vakkaru Maldives after a 30-minute seaplane journey northwest of the airport. For those arriving after dark, you can take a 20-minute domestic flight to Baa Atoll (Dharavandhoo) and then a 30-minute speedboat ride to the resort.

Travel to the Maldives

Visas on arrival are available to all tourists (as are visa extensions if you decide that 30 days of island privacy is not enough).

To enter the Maldives, you currently need to submit a Traveler Health Declaration 24 hours prior to travel, as well as provide certification of a negative PCR test performed within 96 hours of departure to the Maldives.
