What you need to know about the 2023 Formula 1 Season

Formula 1 has officially announced its calendar for 2023 – the biggest in history – which starts in Bahrain on March 5 and ends in Abu Dhabi on November 26. Check out all you need to know about the 2023 Formula 1 Season.

The Formula 1 calendar features 24 events, with the addition of the Las Vegas Grand Prix. It will be the third event in the US, joining races in Miami and Austin.

The Monaco GP remains, the Las Vegas GP debuts and the Chinese GP returns. There will not be a French Grand Prix in 2023.

One of the important considerations that was made is that the F1 schedule avoids a direct confrontation with the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The famous sports car race will take place from June 10th to 11th, which will be the week between the Spanish and Canadian GPs.

There have been some date changes, with the Azerbaijan GP moving from June to April 30th, just a week before the Miami GP.

While F1 has stated that it wants to make the calendar more regional to avoid unnecessary travel around the world, some of the events – particularly in North America – remain too spread out.

The Miami GP is on May 7th, the Canadian GP is on June 18th, Austin is on October 22nd and the inaugural Las Vegas GP is on November 18th.
