Wide variety of art styles
More than 280 internationally recognized artists, selected by a body of renowned and talented jurists in the country, exhibit their spectacular works with Biscayne Bay as a backdrop in different categories: 2D mixed media, 3D mixed media, clay, glass, jewelry, metal, painting, photography, sculpture, woodworking, watercolor and engraving. It is an inspiring celebration of the arts. Undoubtedly, this is an event worth visiting.
Artist Selection Process
The artist selection process was completely “blind”. The judges did not know the name, location, ethnicity or race of any artist who entered. Submissions started in May 2022. The judges reviewed the artworks carefully and scored each one. These scores determined which artists would be invited to exhibit at the festival. At the end of the process, 285 artists were invited to be part of the 2023 festival.
The Coconut Grove Arts Festival celebrates the fine arts with live performances and local flavors. More than 120,000 people attend the open-air festival every year to enjoy artists’ works in different styles.
