In short

A roadshow booking retains one vehicle and one chauffeur for the day rather than pricing each leg. Send the meeting list; dispatch returns a sequence, a pickup point off the main strip for each stop and a flat hourly rate in under 10 minutes. The chauffeur meets the arrival at Signature Aviation MIA or at the customs hall for your concourse. Wynwood arrivals route via I-195 and North Miami Avenue, because the expressway has no direct ramp into the district.

A District the Expressway Skips

Wynwood is bounded by I-95 on the west and I-195 on the north, and connects to neither directly. Everyone arrives the same way, which is worth knowing before you plan a tight schedule.

  • No direct I-95 ramp exists. The standard approach is I-195 east, off at North Miami Avenue, then west on NW 29th Street.
  • NW 2nd Avenue does not hold a car. One lane each way through the core, constant pedestrian crossing and permanent double-parking.
  • Meters run until 2am, every day. Enforcement here is not a business-hours affair, and the maximum stay is short.

Pick up one block off the strip

Our Wynwood schedules almost never name an address on NW 2nd Avenue as the pickup point. NW 5th Avenue and the numbered cross streets work; the strip itself does not, particularly after dark.

The group walks half a block and saves fifteen minutes. That trade is agreed in the schedule rather than negotiated on the phone while people stand outside a gallery.

What the meetings are actually about now

Wynwood has an office core as well as murals. The Wynwood Plaza campus on NW 29th Street brought a class-A tower with major corporate tenants, and Mana Wynwood on NW 23rd Street handles the large event days.

So a delegation here is often splitting its time between a tower meeting and a gallery or studio visit, which is precisely the pattern a retained vehicle handles and a per-ride model does not.

Midtown as the staging answer

The blocks immediately north-east across the rail line have the garage capacity that Wynwood lacks. For a long meeting the vehicle stages there and comes back in on a call time.

It is two minutes away and it removes the entire kerbside problem.

The nights the strip stops working entirely

Wynwood’s disruptions are more frequent than most districts because one of them repeats every month.

  • Art Walk, the second Saturday of every month. The whole NW 2nd Avenue corridor; the single heaviest routine evening for ground transport.
  • III Points, October. A two-day festival at Mana Wynwood; NW 23rd Street and the surrounding blocks go to permit control.
  • Miami Art Week, end of November into December. Warehouse fairs across the district, overlapping the Design District peak.

On those dates we set the pickup outside the affected blocks and confirm it with the group before the evening starts. A car cannot be summoned into a closed street, so the plan has to exist beforehand.

Why the Mixed Wynwood Day Needs One Vehicle

A day that mixes a tower meeting with three gallery visits and a dinner is the hardest shape to serve with separate rides, because each handover happens somewhere with no kerb.

Materials, samples and the things people carry

Design and property meetings in this district involve things: boards, samples, portfolios. A retained cabin carries them between stops; a per-ride model means someone carries them into every lobby and back out again.

It sounds minor until the fourth stop of a hot afternoon.

Who is holding each variable

The controllable factors here are the approach from the east, the pickup point for each stop, where the vehicle stages during long meetings, and whether it is present when a group comes out onto a crowded street. A retained assignment holds all four.

An on-demand platform holds none of them, and on Art Walk night it is competing with the entire district for the same cars. That is a structural difference rather than a judgement about drivers.

Fleet and Cabin

Wynwood’s streets and its metered kerbs make the smaller vehicles the practical choice for most days. Executive SUV, Luxury Sedan and Sprinter Van run off the same dispatch board, so switching is a note rather than a new quote.

Vehicle Passengers Luggage Best suited for
Luxury Sedan Up to 3 2 large, 2 carry-on One or two principals across a mixed tower-and-gallery day
Executive SUV Up to 6 5 large Team carrying boards, samples and materials between stops
Sprinter Van Up to 12 12 large Delegation moving together; pickups planned off the main strip

Send the headcount and the stop list — dispatch sizes the vehicle, sets the pickup points off the strip and returns the price in under 10 minutes.

Cabins run with bottled water, charging for both connector types and climate set before pickup. Where a stop falls on an event street, the pickup point moves and you are told which corner before the day starts.

Why Mundi

Operational Certainty

Six things that decide whether a Wynwood meeting day holds its schedule.

The eastern approach, since the expressway has no ramp here

Pickup points set off the main strip, not on it

Arrival tracked; the day begins at the aircraft, not at a curb

Boards, samples and luggage stay in the cabin between stops

Flat hourly rate in writing beforehand — no surge, no meter

Dispatch staffed 24/7 while the day is running

Logistics FAQ

Questions We Get Most

Why does the route come in from the east?

Because there is no direct exit from I-95 into Wynwood. The standard approach is I-195 east, off at North Miami Avenue, then west on NW 29th Street. Knowing that in advance is the difference between a clean arrival and a loop through Midtown.

Can you pick me up outside the gallery on NW 2nd Avenue?

Usually we will ask you to walk half a block instead. The strip is one lane each way with constant pedestrian crossing and permanent double-parking, and after dark it does not hold a vehicle at all. We name the corner in the schedule beforehand.

What about Art Walk night?

We plan for it rather than around it. Art Walk falls on the second Saturday of every month and takes the whole corridor, so pickups move outside the affected blocks and are confirmed with the group before the evening starts.

How is a roadshow day priced?

As a retained block of hours with one vehicle and one chauffeur, quoted flat and in writing before the day. Send the stop list and dispatch returns the hours, the vehicle and the price in under 10 minutes.
