In 2019, Danny Wimmer announced the move to Daytona Beach, Florida, where it’s been since then. However, the event was put on hold in 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and would return in 2021.

The Welcome Rockville Festival will be a weekend outdoor event held at the iconic Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach (FL) weekend of May 19-22, 2022. The event will feature over 75 musical performances over the four days. The heading performances this year include Kiss, Korn, Megadeth, Guns N’ Roses, Foo Fighters, and The Smashing Pumpkins.
